Project Brief
The reconstruction of this Bus Garage working towards National Express West Midlands’ journey to net zero by 2030 was an initiative brought in by Birmingham City Council.
The 6.5 acre site will provide a new base for over 450 drivers, engineers and back office workers and includes a cafe, rest areas, a separate quiet space, shower facilities and dedicated training rooms. Having worked on two large projects in Perry Barr prior to this, Gecon are delighted to have further contributed to the wider regeneration of the area. We are proud to have been part of a project where sustainability was at the forefront.
