Project Brief
Studley Castle invested £35.5m refurbishment and restoration scheme for the Grade II* listed 1830s country house.
Mixing the old with the new it will be linked via a new bedroom block and cabaret space extension to the existing stable block. The new hotel incorporates extensive leisure and cabaret facilities as well as historic rooms in the main house.
It houses 210 bedrooms, a swimming pool and spa.
Works Performed
- Complete groundworks package from foundations & bases to finished floor slabs
- Drainage including attenuation tank using grate system.
- Electric service ducts and pits.
- Car Park construction.
- Finishing works including Kerbs, edgings and slabs.
- Asbestos removal and transportation – working alongside a specialist sub-contractor as well as our newly trained level 1 and 2 asbestos operatives.
- Preservation and protection work surrounding the listed building including underpinning the old stables
